Together with St Andrew’s Grammar School in Perth, we run a primary school tennis development programme as part of the National Schools Partnership Program (NSPP) aimed specifically at kids. The programme is one of the best primary school tennis coaching sessions in Malaga, Noranda and Dianella. Led by Rhys McDougall, Director & Head Professional Tennis Coach at Playtennis and Mount Lawley Tennis Centre, our team of professional tennis coaches aim to make tennis as fun and enjoyable as possible for kids of all ages and all abilities. We love tennis and we hope you’ll love it too!

Information
- The kids will learn basic stroke technique and play mini tennis games
- We will provide all racquets and equipment. If you have your own please feel free to bring it along
- Kids should have sunscreen on, a hat and a bottle of water
- Each tennis session is 45 minutes long and are in a group format. Tennis lessons will finish in time for students to arrive at their class before the first bell

Playtennis aims to provide all students with a fun and inclusive introduction to tennis. Your child will experience the basic foundations needed to play tennis. They will be taught the correct technique right from the beginning. This will ensure your child quickly and efficiently progresses to playing actual games of tennis. We do this by using lower compression balls, smaller tennis racquets and in some cases smaller playing areas, which are all age appropriate and in line with Tennis Australia's Hotshot Program. Playtennis is a recognised Tennis Australia Hotshots provider.

The school tennis sessions are a fun introduction to tennis. If your child enjoys the sessions and wants to advance further then we would love them to join our after school program at Mount Lawley Tennis Club. We offer group lessons after school from Monday – Saturday. Contact us to find out more.
