Fancy getting fit while playing tennis? Well now you can with one of the best Cardio Tennis workouts in Mount Lawley, Bayswater and Morley. We hold regular Cardio Tennis workout sessions at the Mount Lawley Tennis Club which has excellent facilities.
The sessions are a great way to burn calories, increase your fitness and improve your game all at the same time in this fun, music-fuelled group workout. It’s also very sociable and you do not have to be good at tennis to get involved. In fact, it doesn’t matter if you’ve never played before.
At Playtennis we cater the activities to suit all fitness levels and we’ll mix up the activities to cater for all skill levels. So while it’s great for beginners, more experienced tennis players will also have a great time. Attending one of our Cardio Tennis sessions, with high calorie burns, endless activities and social workouts with friends, will have you feeling great and back in shape in no time at all.

What you will need:
- A tennis racquet. Don’t worry if you don’t have one, we will have one you can borrow
- Your favourite workout gear
- A good attitude and the desire to work hard
- Trainers (or acceptable footwear – call ahead!)
- Water bottle or sports drink
You and up to 10 other people will experience a fun, high-energy workout focused on constant movement that includes:
- 10 to 15 minute warm-up
- 30 minute cardio segment
- 15 minute cool-down
There will be upbeat music to motivate you, heart-rate monitors to check your fitness levels and calorie burn, and low compression balls to make striking the ball that much easier. This is a fun, tennis-based workout like no other! Low-compression tennis balls promote immediate success, especially for beginners, because they travel at a lower speed making it easier to strike the ball.
