Tennis can be enjoyed by all regardless of ability or past experience. At PlayTennis we are passionate about providing inclusive and positive programs for all age groups, including lessons tailored for teenagers. We have established formal partnerships with schools in Perth where we deliver affordable tennis as before/after school and or during the day.
It is never too late to learn how to play tennis. Lessons can be programmed to suit the previous experience of the student as beginners, improvers or skilled players. When taught proper techniques, players are far more likely to achieve positive results enabling them to enjoy tennis as a lifelong sport.

We deliver quality coaching:
- Head Coach Rhys McDougall was awarded WA Tennis Club Coach of the Year 2017.
- All PlayTennis coaches are mentored by Head Coach Rhys McDougall.
- Maximum number of 14 students per coach in a group lesson.
- We pride ourselves that our coaches are committed to your child receiving a fun,
informative, skills based learning experience. - All coaches are qualified, screened, insured.
- PlayTennis will support you whatever your child desires: mix with different friends,
start a new sport, win the school trophy, become the best tennis player in the world,
or to just HAVE FUN.

Lawley Tennis Club. - Clear pathway to quickly progress to a tennis ‘playing’ standard and beyond
- Options to progress from an absolute beginner to professional level, should you
desire.
- High School players can be coached at their level of tennis lesson AT SCHOOL, before
or after class, providing time and logistical efficiency for you as busy students and
also your family.
- High School Tennis is aimed at all 12+ aged players.
- Players are grouped according to their ability within your year group.
- Your coach will remain the same throughout the term. Meet your coach here.
- All students at a PlayTennis registered High School.
- Register YOUR school for us to come to and teach tennis.
- 45 minutes.
- $120 for 8 weeks.
- Starts in WEEK 2 of each school term.
- Delivered BEFORE school or AFTER school (dependent on individual school).
- We work with each school to plan the start and finish times for the lesson, to enable
children to get to/from class.
- School Clothes
- Trial racquets available.
- We can advise you on correct racquet size/weight to purchase.
- Trainers / Tennis shoes.
- Water bottle.
- Sunscreen.
- Tennis lessons are structured but extremely fun.
- Basic stroke technique of all shots are taught right from the beginning which helps
children to quickly and efficiently progress to playing actual games of tennis. - Focus will be on teaching the skills of rallying through control and placement of the
ball. - Singles and doubles point play.
